WHAT IS A COOKIE?

Cookies are short text files downloaded onto the User's device when he or she visits a website. On every subsequent visit, the cookies are re-sent to the website they originated from (first-party cookies) or to another site which recognizes them (third-party cookies.) Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognize the User's device. They have various purposes such as, for example, allowing efficient navigation between pages, remembering favorite sites and, in general, improving browsing experience.
Based on the functionality and purpose of their use, cookies can be subdivided into technical cookies, profiling cookies and third-party cookies.

TECHNICAL COOKIES

The purpose of technical cookies is to enable functions without which the full use of the SITE would not be possible.
These cookies allow for the functioning of multi-step procedures (multiple successive pages, for example a request for contact), to track the user's choices of what SITE content to view, and features to enable and disable.
A cookie of this type is also used to memorize the user's decision regarding the use of cookies on our website.
Essential cookies cannot be disabled using Site features.
Another type of technical cookie is that used to analyze statistics regarding access or visits to the site, also called "analytics," that serves exclusively statistical purposes and collects information in an aggregated format without the possibility of identification of a single user.
Analytics cookies may also be third-party cookies (Google Analytics.) For more information refer to the privacy policy of the respective owner.

PROFILING COOKIES

Profiling cookies are used to improve the user's experience of the SITE by suggesting content in line with the user's preferences displayed during browsing, based on the content visualized and other behavioral parameters.
The user may choose to deactivate the use of specific SITE cookies through the dedicated options in their browser.
In this case certain SITE features may become unavailable.

THIRD-PARTY COOKIES

The SITE uses some external features or contains some external links with the aim of improving the use and social characteristics of the site through integration with third party platforms (e.g. share buttons for Facebook, Google, etc.).
These features and links may result in the use of third party cookies, for which refer to the privacy policies published on each specific site.
